What is Hurraay?
Hurraay is an AI recruiting platform from Berlin that screens résumés, conducts real screening calls by phone in German and English, and books shortlisted candidates directly into the hiring manager's calendar. Humans set the criteria and make every hiring decision; Hurraay does the repetitive screening work.
How fast is it really?
A campaign goes live on day 1. Screening calls run on days 3-7. First hiring-manager interviews are typically booked between days 7 and 10. Speed depends on your candidates' availability, which is why Hurraay calls, emails, and reschedules automatically.
Does AI reject candidates?
No. Candidates below your scoring threshold are parked, never rejected. A human sees the full ranked list, can promote anyone into a screening call, and confirms every rejection personally. This is a deliberate design decision for GDPR Article 22.
What does Hurraay cost?
Recruiting Booster comes in three monthly packages: Starter is free, Pro costs €565 and Super-Recruiter €1,300, with CV screenings and agentic phone interviews included. 500 applicants and 50 interviews cost €695 on Pro. Active sourcing comes in packages from €0, or success-based at 5% of the hired candidate's first-year fixed salary, payable only when you hire. A typical agency charges 25-35%. All prices exclude VAT.
Do candidates know they are talking to an AI?
Yes, always. Every call starts with a clear disclosure and explicit consent, and candidates can request a human alternative at any point.
Which languages and markets?
German and English screening calls, DACH-first. The platform and all candidate communication run in both languages.
How do Hurraay and the EU AI Act fit together?
Hurraay is built for the EU AI Act. Recruiting AI counts as high-risk under Annex III, and those obligations apply from 2 December 2027. We build for them from day one. Already today: candidates always know they are talking to an AI. We score only the transcript, never the voice: no voice biometrics, no emotion recognition. A human confirms every rejection. Candidate data stays in the EU.
